Developed in collaboration with Mallorca Heritage and architect Nacho Pons from 3de3arquitectes, the villa represents a refined balance between the tradition of Mallorca and contemporaneity.

The Japanese aesthetic of wabi-sabi, focusing on the beauty of irregularity, authenticity, slow life, and a return to roots, has inspired the concept of this integral project. Terraza Balear's transformation of such a traditional house, not only shows great respect for the craftsmanship of generations past but also a fair amount of spatial imagination suited to contemporary needs.

Outdoor

Terraza Balear continues to relentlessly reinvent the codes of outdoor living. Outdoor space meets a veritable need to reconnect with nature, nature watching and stargazing.
The patio is inspired by the idea of space as an outdoor nook that guarantees maximum privacy. One of the most emblematic Flexform armchairs, alongside Tribu puffs and a Freifrau lounge swing seat, are the purest selection to put your feet up and swing away .
Two dining and living areas, a pool zone, and a spa are located in a large garden, a true gem of Sa Buguenvil∙lea. Items from Tribu, the specialist in ‘The Art of Leisure,’ set the right tone for this space: an elegant table built on perfectly balanced contrasts – a bold sculptural pedestal is paired with a slim tabletop; armchairs, inspired by the motion of light as it reflects and refracts on landscapes and objects; multi-purpose poufs that can be used as a footstool, side table or additional seating; comfortable loungers with voluminous cushions to ease away any stress.

Ground Floor

The ground floor is an open, temple-like space with high ceilings. In this space, light plays a special role for any occasion: welcoming to dive into warm, pleasant ambiance for friends and family gatherings or enjoying quiet moments in indirect light of luminaries and a fireplace.

Living Room

Living rooms have always been a central point of residential spaces. With respect to the traditional way of living, everything is gathered around a fireplace in this room: spacious and comfortable Flexform sofa, alongside a handmade Flexform armchair that evokes memories of childhood, coffee tables, a rustic bench and accessories. All these items are distinguished by balanced proportions, essential volumes and precious details.

With respect for the architecture of the space, the living room flows smoothly into the dining room and kitchen.

Dining Room and Kitchen

The dining room and kitchen are not only storytellers of rituals in the world of food, but also meeting places with great functionality, in which to rediscover the pleasure of conviviality. All items reflect a unique lifestyle and a design project based on intuition, experimentation, and attention to detail: a dining table, emphasized by dining chairs and bar stools by Flexform, as well as kitchen and storage furniture by Poliform.

First Floor

This floor hosts private spaces dedicated to the renewal of mind and body.

Master Bedroom

The two small windows above the headboard are reminiscent of the old Mallorcan architecture, which is completed with the modern design of the Flexform night tables and bed, echoed by the antique rustic bench placed at the foot of the bed. The Master bedroom has a spacious en-suite bathroom that witnesses the encounter between sophisticated, refined aesthetics and comfort - a true well-being.

Other Bedrooms

To create unexpected sightlines and a spatial experience, the different spaces are connected by allowing color, texture, and finishes to continue from one space to another. It is all about the creation of a natural, slow, flowing, inhabited space where every detail is admired and respected.

Second Floor

The second floor provides quiet and conducive areas for studying and working indoors and outdoors. The Flexform sofa, with its generous yet well-balanced proportions and couture upholstery tailoring, the timeless Maxalto armchair and coffee table, combined with more authentic rustic elements, create an atmosphere filled with informal elegance.
